HP sues Pelikan for infringement of its Printer ink cartridges

Press Release Body = HP alleges that Germany based Pelikan Hardcopy Deutschland GmbH had violated with the patented HP printer ink cartridges by selling them under their banner. The HP printer ink cartridges in question here are re-assigned as H06 and H08 colour cartridges, as declared by HP. According to them, "The cartridges in question are apparently new, as opposed to re-manufactured products." The lawsuit which has been registered in the Düsseldorf District Court.
As per HP, this violation of patent of printer ink cartridges came into notice when the company was conducting an ongoing worldwide testing and enforcement efforts within HP\'s Imaging and Printing Group. In a statement, HP claims that these cartridges seemed to be new, as against the re-manufactured products ones.
